Amanda Beard, BS, CSCS
Director of Operations Physical Performance
Amanda graduated in 2006 receiving her B.S as an Exercise Specialist from Bowling Green State University. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as well as a Level 1 Sport Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting. Amanda worked directly with athletes of all calibers in one of the most prestigious performance training centers in North West Ohio working up from college Intern to Associate Director in 4 years. In 2008 she and her husband relocated to Statesville, North Carolina to help open The Physical Performance Center. Now AthElite PPC, Amanda is co-owner and Director of Sports Performance.
Amanda utilizes medically based evaluations and a proven testing procedure to ensure every athlete and client sees the improvements they train for. Her creative style of training promises a fun yet extremely challenging workout every session. She dedicates herself to every client and builds relationships that lead to consistent training practices.
Whether working with sport performance athletes or adult fitness clients, Amanda encourages and pushes each client to their fullest potential, every session. Her goal is to improve athleticism in each of her clients and to obtain their goals.
Brian Boyle, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Brian Boyle graduated from Ithaca College in 1998 with a Master's in Physical Therapy and from UNC Chapel Hill in 2007 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Dr. Brian was worked for the last 14 years in many clinical settings but has spent the majority of his time working in the outpatient orthopedic setting working with individuals of all ages and ability levels.
Dr. Brian is currently the head Physical Therapist for the Gastonia Grizzlies College Summer League Baseball team and consults with the Statesville Owls College Summer League Baseball team. In the past Brian has worked with the USBL Pennsylvania Valley Dawgs Basketball Team, the Allentown Ambassadors Independent League Baseball Team, and the Philadelphia Eagles in their Training Camp. A former Sub-elite long distance runner, Dr. Brian is also head of the Running Performance Center at AthElite. Dr. Brian is married, has 2 sons and enjoys traveling with his wife and working out/running. Dr. Brian is currently accepting new clients.
Brittney Boyle
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Brittney has a business degree from Queens University where she was also a Division II College Soccer Player. As a former player and now a coach, Brittney shares a love for soccer with her current athletes. Brittney is the Director of Business Operations and COO of AthElite PPC.
